1. What attracted you to this photograph?
2. What makes this a strong photograph?
3. What is the focal-point of the photograph? What is your eye drawn to immediately?
4. How does this photograph tell the story of the earthquake in Haiti?
5. Choose one person in the photograph and describe what they're thinking. Write the description from their point of view

1) I was attracted to this photo because of the different  levels of height in the photo. Starting at the ground with the crushed cars moving up to the concert on top of the cars to the highest level the men on top.
2)This is a strong photo because of the story it tells, you can clearly see the level of mass destruction as their is a roof laying on crushed cars. The photo has a clear message of distress and destruction
3)For me, the focal point of the photo is the cars. While they do not appear to be cars at a glance with quick study you are drawn to the car brand logos and realize, wow those a cars.
4)The story this photo tells screams of the damage done in haiti. All the rubble and trash underneath the cars and the men on top working to clean up.
5)The man on the far right with the gutter looking scrap in his hand looks determined to help his fellow neighbors because as of now they are all in the same boat.

The first project I plan to complete is the portaits project or the urban decay project. Both projects caught my eye that would be the most fun and possibly the easiest to get started with. For the portriats project I would like to expirment with using a high amount of light, perhaps from a photo flood light bulb, while getting very up close and personal with the camera while also the photo describes the personality of the subject. For the matter of urban decay I would like to focus on my home town of Cuyahoga Falls my theme being a decay of diversity. Cuyahoga Falls statistically being 98% whites, lacks a diverse culture. This puts a decay on my city.
